The Neon Nature Tour is the third concert tour by recording artist Marina and the Diamonds in support of her third studio album, Froot (2015). The tour was officially announced three months after the release of the album, on June 23, 2015, and it began on October 12, 2015 in Houston, Texas, concluding after a total of forty-six shows on March 20, 2016, in Chile. However, Diamandis has stated that the tour will continue on to other continents later in 2016, as well as extending its runs in North America and Europe.

Background and productionEdit

During promotion for her third studio release, "Froot", Diamandis had been mentioning her upcoming, then-unannounced, tour, promising that it "would blend artifice with nature", a theme reflected in the tour's name. As early as March 2015, Diamandis was considering the tour's design, announcing "I think I'm calling my tour the Neon Nature tour. Creating this cyber-garden on stage, something exotic, but electrical.. During a June 2015 Tumblr Q&A, when asked about her inspiration for the tour, Diamandis replied: "Taking the natural world and blending it with [the] digital world we live in. The theme is “Futuristic Nature”!.

The tour was officially announced on June 23, 2015 with a run of North American dates.
